FAQ

Do you have questions about our club, or naturism in general? Are you apprehensive or not sure of the etiquette? Don't worry, we have all been in your position at some point. Here we will answer some of the questions you may have...

What is Naturism?

Naturism is the simple practice of going without clothes. The effect of fresh air and sunshine on the body makes you feel better, more relaxed and less body conscious.

Do I have to undress when I first visit?

No, we understand nervousness. Undress when you feel comfortable with the environment and your surroundings. Once you do, you’ll soon feel very relaxed and realise no-one is looking at you.

Is nudity compulsory?

Just like other people, when the weather gets cold, we put on clothes. Our indoor social events are clothed.

Do I have to be a member or British Naturism to join?

Membership of BN is not a pre-requisite to joining.

Do you allow animals within the grounds?

Well behaved pets on a lead are welcome. There is an allocated outdoor area where you can spend time with them.

Do I have to make an appointment to visit or can I just turn up?

We are only able to accommodate pre-arranged visits. If you’d like to visit, please contact our PR officer on 07960 109041 or at oakwoodsunclub@gmail.com
